ETHICS AND PRIVATE LAW OF SPORT
(obiettivi)
The course of private law of sport has as its subject the fundamental principles regulating Italian private law of sport, whit particular reference to the sporting system. The course aims at providing the students, through the examination of the relevant legislation and the most significant case law and commentaries of this matter, with knowledge of the issues inherent to the sporting system, the persons which are part of it, the contractual framework, the civil liability in relation to sport activity. The course will particularly focus on the examination of the relevant employment contract and the principles of the civil liability applicable to the world of sport, also with reference to the civil liability of the doctor and to doping. The course also aims at providing the students with the basic principles regulating the functioning of the sporting system jurisdictio.
The course aims at teaching to the student the core of ethics: the Respect of Personhood. Since the time of Hippocrates to the UNESCO Declaration of Bioethics approved in 2005, the Respect of Personhood has been the focus point of any relationship but with a reinforced attention to patients. Indeed, curing someone implies necessarily curing a vulnerable person since a sick person is always 'under attack' (Latin meaning of the word 'vulnerare'). Still, the fragility of a patient is not to be identified with the vulnerability of the sick body. The Respect of Personhood is to take into account all together the body and the mind of the patient.

PHARMACOLOGY AND PHYSIOLOGY OF THE EXERCISE
(obiettivi)
The course will provide basic information in pharmacology, integrating the basic science with applications in sport and health promotion. Besides giving general principles on the way of drugs enter the body (i.e. their absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion), and on the mechanisms of drug action the course will focus on how drugs affect physical activities and how exercise can change the effects of drugs. Special emphasis will be given to drugs used to enhance the performance of athletes, to drug abuse, to physical and psychological dependence. Drug interaction and variability of responses to drugs among healthy individuals or in patients with different pathological conditions.
Movement neurophysiology and physical exercise. The course will provide deeper knowledge on movement and exercise physiology. In particular the course will examine topics concerning the neural processes underlying the control of movement and the acquisition of novel motor skills. The course is subdivided further in two sections: the first will examine in detail sensory processing in the somatosensory and visual systems, the main sensory channels contributing to the motor control processes; the second section will deal with the complexity of the central physiological mechanisms which govern movement planning and execution, by examining the control of basic motor functions such as locomotion, balance, oculomotor control and voluntary action and the functional features of the CNS structures which subtend these processes (spinal circuitry, cerebellum, brainstem nuclei, basal ganglia and cerebral cortex). This latter section will also dwell on the physiological mechanisms of motor skill learning and decision-making.

FOOD AND NUTRITION FOR HEALTH AND FITNESS AND CLINICAL PATHOLOGY
(obiettivi)
The aim of the Clinical Pathology course is to give students biomedic basis knowledge on the general concept of "pathophysiological mechanism." Added to this is the knowledge of the essential tools to identify a "state of health" or to monitor the "health" through some blood tests. In fact, only through the doses of certain substances normally present in the blood, the results of which give us an idea of how certain physiological mechanisms, students have the possibility to modulate the physical activity programs adapted to each individual in a personal way.
Students will have an understanding of nutrition basics and what foods provide necessary for caloric nutrients and vitamins and minerals. Principles of basic nutrition and how dietary choices can contribute to the healthy and wellness of all specific types of people. A thorough understanding of the human body and how it reflects nutrition, including the digestion, absorption, and metabolizing of foods, physiology, anatomy, biology and the compounds of nutritional substances. A work-study program that begins a transition from academia to professional practice in any of the chosen specific fields among nutrition and health care.

These may include: triage, trauma care and general critical care resuscitation skills; non cardiac shock management; wounds and bleedings; heat and cold injuries; poisoning management; acid-base homeostasis disorders; gastroenteric bleedings; acute abdominal pain.
The course aims to provide students related to "Physical Activity and Health Promotion ," theoretical and practical fundamentals for cardiopulmonary resuscitation in sports. Keep in mind the importance of this course in the light of the Decree Balduzzi , in which you have , by law, that the sports associations should adopt semi-automatic defibrillator and other devices necessary for first aid. The knowledge and recognition of cardiac arrest , often dramatic event, must be intrepretated and intercepted in a quick, safe and accurate by the insiders. The course makes use of a theoretical part and a practical one, and enables a practical and essential know how for the safety of athletes affected by the disease such as CV acute arrest. The activation of those basic tecniques, such as interfacing with first aid facilities, safety measures, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the possible help of semi-automatic defibrillator, allows a correct setting of the relief
